Regard – Ride It:
Regard’s “Ride It” reached Number 1 on the UK’s Trending Chart, as the club track built its presence across the charts, radio and online. The track, a remix of R&B pop singer-songwriter Jay Sean was originally released in 2008 and became a viral hit through video social media platform Tik Tok, where fans took part in the #rideitchallenge.
Who is DJ Regard?
At the time of Ride Its meteoric rise, no one really knew who was behind the song, however, the Kosovon DJ has long been building on his career since 2008. Starting in Electronic dance music and latter switching to Deep house where his YouTube channel gained over 550k subscribers and over 400M views by 2017. Fast-forwarding to 2020, Ride It has racked up over 60M views alone.
Regard Remake:
The Ableton remake has been created with a laid back 90s sound using native Ableton Live’s (Suite) synths and plugins enabling greater access for all. The project includes the studio acapella, lush electric chords and track arrangement, making the perfect starting point for any producer looking to make their own Deep house classic.
